Canvas of Possibility
In a world were computers, laptops, smartphones, and tablets reign all or most of our daily lives...a single blank piece of paper comes to life. This object has a story that is eager to share with us...the people who have become accustomed to a world flooded with technology.
The single blank piece of paper joyously wants to be referred to as CP because its dream is to be someone's canvas of possibility. CP comes from 100% recyclable bond paper. This means that many stories are embedded in its fibers. The bits and pieces of these stories guided CP to its most fond desire.
Memories from typed words, written words, printed images and drawings allowed CP to notice the difference in energy. When words or images were printed by a machine the energy was of lower vibration than when the words or drawings were done by hand. This conscious piece of paper desired to be of higher energy and wanted to be part of a beautiful creation filled with possibility and energy.
When CP shared its desire with a new white blank piece of paper there was a short silence and then the question, "What is this energy that you speak of? You are just a piece of paper with great imagination. Stop dreaming and just be normal like all of us. Soon enough there will be no more hand written." CP thought that getting closer to the piece of paper may allow it to feel what CP felt. If others would see the magic and power of hand written words and drawings, CP believed the world could be more aligned with the higher vibrations. As the two of them touched, the white piece of paper said that the energy CP feels is all a lie and just kept rambling on. CP took a deep breath and said, "Just listen and feel...silence your thoughts...stay in that silence for a few moments." The other piece of paper kept rambling and all of a sudden quieted down. Silence filled the room and suddenly there was joy in the voice of the piece of paper saying, "It does exist...I want to be a canvas of possibility filled with this higher energy!"
Written words and drawings carry a unique energy that transmits to the piece of paper and into the Universe. CP wishes that we don't forget the power of a blank piece of paper, pencil/colors/pens, and our thoughts.
"Let a lot of pieces of paper become your canvas of possibility." ~ CP

Bio
Hello fellow Seekers!
This is my first blog post ever...I'm excited and a bit nervous at the same time. Writing is something that I've started to love over the last few months since I started the journey of my life's purpose.
To start off let me answer the question "Who is Jimena QuiƱones?"...
Jimena has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering who worked in different companies in various positions for 10 years. Her future looked very bright in the company she was working for, Jimena enjoyed what she did and was good at what she did though she felt there might be something more. In 2010 she had a business trip that changed the course of her life. During the flight back home there was a lot of turbulence and people started to get scared. In the midst of this Jimena had a thought, "Are you happy?" and her response came quite fast, "No.". At that moment the answer frightened her more than the turbulence. She definitely did not want to die without being happy. That experience in 2010 marked a journey towards a life with more meaning, more purpose and with this a happier life.
After the incident Jimena took a look at her present as well as her past. She started asking questions like "What moments during my life have I been happy?" "How did those moments differ from all other moments?". Doing this aided her to realize that she was not fulfilling her destiny. After a lot of soul searching and self-discovery she felt guided by her heart and mind in unison towards a spiritual practice called ThetaHealing where she has taken the Basic, Advanced and Instructor Courses. Another important step that she felt was crucial to prepare herself was studying an Associated Degree in Mind-Body Transformational Psychology from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) which she will graduate in Jan 2016. Jimena knew if she wanted to fulfill her destiny she had to prepare herself well and continue on the path of self-discovery and self-actualization.
She believes that our inner most desire is to live a life of purpose and the acknowledgment of this can come through an experience like hers or through conscious self-discovery. Her mission in life is to help generate the need and a awareness for self-discovery by teaching, engaging, guiding through belief work, coaching and spiritual practice.
If you find yourself somewhere in this story, seeking for that something, visit Jimena's blog often for tips, articles, course dates, etc.
Until next time...live passionately every moment of your life!
